Google Email Uploader is a simple tool that helps you import email messages and contacts from your current desktop client to Gmail, in just a few simple steps. It’s really simple to use and walks you through the whole process.
Once you’ve signed into Google Email Uploader, you’ll be able to select the specific folders you want to export to Gmail, with a couple of interesting options: mark then with labels created from folder names, or store them directly into the Gmail archive.
Google Email Uploader has a major drawback though: it only works with Google Apps accounts – not generic Gmail accounts – which may mean many users simply can't use it.
